London, England (SportsNetwork.com) - Arsenal announced on Wednesday that the club has completed the signing of Poland youth international Krystian Bielik from Legia Warsaw.

The versatile 17-year-old can play in midfield or central defense and he joins the Gunners for an undisclosed fee.

Bielik made his debut for Legia in August, and he had also attracted interest from German side Hamburg before opting to move to London.

"I've decided to move to Arsenal and, although I cannot be sure of what's to come in the future, I'm going to London to fulfil my dreams," Bielik said. "I felt at home in Warsaw and I will always have fond memories of the time I spent in Legia. Dominik Ebebenge, the development director, was always a huge help for me and I cannot find words to describe my gratitude towards him."

Bielik has represented Poland at the U-16 and U-17 levels and he made five appearances for Legia's senior team since August.
