Arrigoni takes over last-place Cesena

Cesena named Daniele Arrigoni its new manager on Tuesday for the rest of the Serie A season.

Arrigoni takes over a winless side sitting at the bottom of the standings with just three points from three draws in nine league matches.

The 52-year-old Arrigoni played for Cesena and has previously coached in Italy with Bologna, Cagliari and Livorno.

Cesena fired Marco Giampaolo on Sunday after a 2-0 defeat to Parma. Giampaolo lasted less than six month as manager.
