TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) Alabama coach Nick Saban has hired a new offensive line coach and shifted the duties of two other assistants.

Saban announced the hiring of Brent Key on Tuesday to coach the offensive guards and centers. Offensive line coach Mario Cristobal will now work with tackles and tight ends and serve as recruiting coordinator for the defending national champions.

Bobby Williams moves from coaching the special teams and tight ends to working as a special assistant to the head coach. He has been on Saban's staff the past eight seasons.

Key spent the last 11 seasons as a Central Florida assistant, serving as offensive coordinator last season.
