Liverpool, England (SportsNetwork.com) - Liverpool will be without defender Daniel Agger for the next four weeks because of a calf injury, it was revealed on Friday.
Agger sustained the injury in Liverpool's 2-0 win over Oldham in the FA Cup last Sunday, and he will likely miss the club's next five matches, including the Merseyside derby on Jan. 28.
"Disappointed with my injury! But I hope to be back strong within 4 weeks! Thanks for all the supporting tweets," Agger posted on Twitter.
The 29-year-old has appeared in 13 games in all competitions for Liverpool, and has been linked with a move away from Anfield in the January transfer window.
