MIAMI (AP) The Miami Dolphins' latest moves suggest they may be planning to run the wishbone, because they are loading up on running backs.

Daniel Thomas, Isaiah Pead and MarQueis Gray agreed to contracts Thursday with the Dolphins, who wanted to add depth at the position after Lamar Miller signed with Houston.

Thomas, a second-round draft choice by Miami in 2011, will return to play for his third Dolphins head coach. Pead was drafted in the second round in 2012 but has only 19 career carries for 78 yards, all with the Rams. Gray is a three-year veteran who has played with three teams and has six career carries.

All will compete with second-year pro Jay Ajayi. The Dolphins might add another running back in free agency or the draft.
