NL West

The Dodgers maintain a big lead in the division (seven games), and they did acquire two-time reigning Cy Young award winner Tarik Skubal at the trade deadline, but he's lost two of his first three starts. Meanwhile, San Diego has won seven of eight. It swept the Brewers recently, but only has three games left against L.A.

What to know: Milwaukee is the best team in baseball, and just took three of four at Dodger Stadium. Conventional wisdom says that the Brewers will eventually have to get past L.A. in the playoffs, after being swept by the reigning champs last postseason.
