Actor Mark Ruffalo threatened to "hulk out" at a New York City event on Sunday in an expletive-filled rant targeting President Donald Trump and the Republican Party, who, he argued, were trying to stop Democrats "from taking our country back."

During a "Hands Off Our Vote" event, Ruffalo sounded the alarm and said Republicans were trying to "steal" the midterm elections, according to Variety.

"We got to get this dumba---, fool a–, tired a--, lame a--, duck a-- out of office. We got to make him a lame duck! We have to stop his policies now. Another two years of this, and who knows what he’ll be doing? He’s calling to throw Democrats out of the country," Ruffalo said, according to the outlet.

"And he means it! The guy means everything he says. I know we’re all tired, we are so tired, but we can’t give up now... They’re going to try and stop us from taking our country back, and we’re not going to let ’em. Trump, we’re not letting you! Hands off our f---ing vote!" Ruffalo said.

"I’m going to Hulk out. You won’t like me when I’m angry," he said, after a member of the audience cheered him on, referencing his portrayal of Marvel Cinematic Universe's "The Incredible Hulk," Variety reported.

"Hey, I’m still here! They thought I was out for the count — I’m still here, I’m still playing the Hulk," Ruffalo said.

"We can’t hide. We have to be together, and we have to fight for each other and we have to be brave. Our time to be brave is coming, I’m telling you brothers and sisters," Ruffalo said, according to the outlet.

"They’re going to do everything they can to keep us in our homes. They’re going to do everything they can to make us feel small. They’re going to do everything they can to make us feel lost, to make it feel inevitable. It’s not inevitable! We’re inevitable — the truth is inevitable," he said.

The RNC fired back at Ruffalo in a statement to Fox News Digital.

"Mark Ruffalo is clearly stuck in La La Land. In the real world, voter ID and proof of citizenship are wildly popular, and noncitizens keep turning up on voter rolls," Ally Triolo, the RNC's election integrity communications director, told Fox News Digital in a statement.

"Democrats fight commonsense safeguards because they believe they can't win when Republicans make it easier to vote and harder to cheat," Triolo said.

The White House also shredded Ruffalo for his comments, saying the actor had "Trump Derangement Syndrome."

"Mark Ruffalo is a no-talent loser who has totally beclowned himself by spewing disgusting lies and spreading hate due to his severe and incurable case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. He is so devoid of actual talent that nobody with any commonsense would ever watch him unless it was to laugh at his miserable failures," White House Spokesman Davis Ingle told Fox News Digital.

Ruffalo blasted the outcome of the long-running fight over Paramount's $110 billion acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery last week after a federal judge cleared the Hollywood megadeal to move forward Wednesday.

Ruffalo, who had been one of the most vocal Hollywood opponents of the merger, called the outcome "incredibly disappointing."

"This merger will stifle creativity, weaken free speech, and cost people their jobs – it is a bad deal for this country and should never have been approved," Ruffalo wrote in a post on X.

"This is an incredibly disappointing outcome for the hundreds of thousands of us who stood up to block it, but it's also not the end," he continued. "This grassroots movement isn't going to fade away and neither is our resolve. This was never about just one merger: this was about fighting back against corrupt oligarch billionaires trampling the interests of everyday people to line their own pockets."
