El-Sayed says he does not view Israel as US ally: 'Not actually our friend'

Michigan Democratic candidate Abdul El-Sayed said he does not believe Israel is a close U.S. ally , arguing that an ally that "takes your money and pushes you into wars you shouldn't be fighting is not an ally."

"If your kid has a friend who keeps bumming off their money and then talks about them behind their back and then gets them into fights with other friends, what would you tell your kid to do with that friend?" El-Sayed said during an interview with ABC News. "You'd probably tell them that maybe that isn't actually your friend."

"I think it’s time for us to realize that Israel is not actually our friend," he continued.

Rogers blasts El-Sayed as 'manufactured candidate' with Election Day looming

Fox News host Sean Hannity kicked off a town hall in Michigan Monday evening with Republican Senate candidate Mike Rogers, who took aim at Democratic opponent Abdul El-Sayed with just over two weeks until Election Day.

Rogers said El-Sayed has a "pattern of deception" and called him a "manufactured candidate," accusing the Democrat of misrepresenting his political positions.

"He is the most extreme candidate. He has called for defunding the police. He has called for letting criminals out of prison. He has called for the Green New Deal, which for Michigan is a killer," Rogers said.

Rogers also touted his campaign's ground operation, saying volunteers are approaching 6 million doors knocked across Michigan.

"That's the energy, and what we're getting off of those doors is, 'Yes, we're voting,' 'No, we're not going to be a DSA state,' 'No, we're not going to let this happen on our watch.'"

Trump unleashes on Democrats during Kansas rally ahead of midterms

President Donald Trump unleashed a barrage of attacks against prominent Democrats on Monday while campaigning in Kansas for Republican Sen. Roger Marshall, taking aim at Rep. Ilhan Omar, Rep. Rashida Tlaib, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and others.

Trump framed the midterms as a choice between Republicans and "extremists" while urging supporters to turn out for Marshall.

"A vote for any Democrat this year is a vote to let that small and dangerous group of extremists hold all of us hostage in America. They're not going to hold us hostage," Trump said.

He added, "In 15 days, we're going to reelect Roger Marshall, one of the greatest, and we're going to defeat the communists, the jihadists, and the corrupt anti-American lunatics once and for all."

Matthew McConaughey divides fans over independent voting plea ahead of midterms

Matthew McConaughey's call to rethink America's two-party political system has sparked a heated debate on social media, with some critics accusing the Oscar-winning actor of promoting a "privileged perspective" ahead of the 2026 midterm elections.

On Sunday, McConaughey took to social media and challenged the long-held notion that voting for an independent candidate is a wasted vote, arguing that just a handful of independent lawmakers could dramatically shift the balance of power in Washington.

"They've been telling us for years that an independent vote is a wasted vote," McConaughey said in a video shared on Instagram. "Well, a great question for our times is, has that unwasted vote been working out for you?"

While the actor insisted he was not endorsing a particular candidate or political party, his message quickly drew criticism from social media users who questioned the timing of his remarks and warned against encouraging independent voting ahead of November's elections.

Johnson sounds alarm over Democrats’ agenda ahead of midterms

House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., took aim at Democrats on Monday in a series of social media posts warning voters about what he described as the party's agenda ahead of the midterm elections.

In one post, Johnson accused Democrats of seeking to phase out fossil fuels "altogether," arguing that the two parties are offering voters sharply different approaches to the country's future.

"We can’t turn the keys of the government over to Democrats whose policies will bankrupt working families and the country!" Johnson wrote.

In a separate post, Johnson accused Democrats of pursuing political "retribution."

"Make NO mistake: Democrats’ crusade of retribution won’t stop with the President or his Cabinet. They’re coming after YOU. Everyday Americans. Ordinary conservatives. You don’t need a title to become a target. You just need to disagree," Johnson wrote.

In another post, he also criticized Democrats over immigration and election policy.

"The playbook for Democrats and their Marxist pals is clear: Reopen the border. Allow millions of illegals into America. Let them vote in our elections.Republicans are having none of it," Johnson said. "It’s why we cannot afford to let the radical left be put back in charge of Congress."

New details emerge in arrest of former Democratic congressional candidate: report

New details have reportedly emerged about the alleged social media threats that led to the arrest of former Florida congressional candidate Elijah Manley.

Manley, a Democrat who ran this year for Florida's 20th Congressional District seat, faces two counts of intimidation by writing or sending threats to kill or injure, NBC 6 South Florida reported.

According to an arrest affidavit, the Broward Sheriff's Office was alerted Aug. 21 to two Facebook posts allegedly made by an account using Manley's name, according to the outlet.

Investigators said the posts appeared to stem from a dispute with other social media users over Florida U.S. Senate candidate Angie Nixon.

In one message cited in the affidavit, Manley allegedly warned others not to anger him and threatened to "burn" their "castle to the ground" and anyone who got in his way, according to NBC 6 South Florida.

In another post, he allegedly threatened people who did not support Nixon, saying he would make their lives "a living hell to the very end."

"You better lineup behind the Democratic nominee like we always do,” the post said, according to the affidavit.

Vance takes aim at Democrats during North Carolina midterm rally

Vice President JD Vance on Monday took aim at Democrats while campaigning for Republican candidates in North Carolina ahead of the midterms.

Vance accused Democratic leaders of abandoning what he called the principle that the government should put Americans first.

"The American government ought to serve the American people," the vice president said.

Vance also announced $858 million in additional disaster relief funding for areas damaged by Hurricane Helene.

"Ladies and gentlemen, that highlights the contrast in this election, because when Democrats were in power, they were doing nothing for western North Carolina," he said.

He said Republican leaders, along with U.S. Senate candidate Michael Whatley and U.S. House candidate Jennifer Balkcom, were working to secure federal resources for the state's recovery.

"Your people, your government, should be fighting for you," he said.

Talarico accuses Elon Musk of trying to ‘buy' Texas Senate seat

Democratic Texas Senate candidate James Talarico on Monday accused Elon Musk of trying to "buy" the state's U.S. Senate seat during a rally at the University of North Texas.

"Elon Musk is trying to buy this Senate seat in Texas," Talarico said. "We just found out that he is almost single handedly bankrolling this effort to install Ken Paxton in the U.S. Senate and defeat this movement we've built in our state."

Talarico claimed that Musk was behind attack ads, mail and text messages targeting his campaign.

"Our movement is funded by 1.3 million individuals who have given to our campaign. Ken Paxton is funded by one dude," Talarico said.

"Elon Musk wants our land. He wants our water. He wants his very own personal United States senator. He is trying to buy Texas," he claimed. "But on November 3rd, we are going to send a crystal clear message to the world's first trillionaire: Texas is not for sale."

Fox News Digital attempted to reach Musk for comment.

Walz-era fraud scandal takes center stage as Klobuchar, GOP rival clash in debate

Democratic Sen. Amy Klobuchar and Republican state House Speaker Lisa Demuth traded fire over Minnesota's massive fraud scandal as they faced off for the first time on the debate stage in the race to replace embattled Gov. Tim Walz.

The race is unfolding against the backdrop of the state's welfare assistance fraud scandal, which has attracted national attention for nearly a year and prompted Walz, a two-term Democrat, to abandon his 2026 re-election bid. The fraud schemes, involving pandemic-era social services, siphoned hundreds of millions, and potentially billions, of taxpayer dollars from federal and state programs in Minnesota.

Demuth is aiming to become the first Republican in twenty years to win a gubernatorial election in the blue-leaning Midwestern state. Polls indicate Klobuchar holding an upper single digit lead over Demuth, and the Fox News Power Rankings rate the race Likely Democrat.

Demuth, during the first half of the debate, repeatedly steered the conversation to the fraud scandal.

"We have allowed a culture of waste and fraud to go on far too long and we can’t keep going this way," she said, as she worked to link Klobuchar to Walz, who has taken full responsibility for the scandal.

Manchin bucks Schumer, throws support behind Republican Democrats want to oust

A top Senate Republican whom Democrats are salivating at the chance to unseat is getting an unexpected assist from a former member of their own party, delivering a political snub to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.

Former Sen. Joe Manchin, who left the Democratic Party to become an independent before retiring from the Senate, is making a swing into Maine to support Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, the lawmaker’s campaign confirmed to Fox News Digital.

Collins is locked in a tight race against former Maine state Sen. Troy Jackson as she seeks a sixth term in the upper chamber. The race has remained close after it was shaken up earlier this year when Graham Platner dropped out after a sexual assault allegation rocked his campaign.

Dem 2028 hopeful sparks backlash over France riot comments as critic says he wants to ‘ride the rage

Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif., a potential 2028 presidential contender, drew criticism from across the political spectrum after pointing to the riots in France as a warning about wealth inequality and urging the U.S. to "listen to our young."

"This is what happens when the nations let wealth and power accumulate in the hands of a few," Khanna wrote in a post to X on Sunday evening.

Khanna's post comes on the heels of nationwide demonstrations over the cost of living and public services that descended into violence, looting and arson in several French cities on Saturday, prompting critics to accuse the progressive Democrat of giving political legitimacy to the destruction.

Spencer Pratt, former mayoral candidate for Los Angeles, blasted what he saw as an attempt to side with rioters.

"Of course Rohit Conman sees mass communist riots destroying businesses and historic buildings in Paris and lies about it as some noble ‘ask’ for justice," Pratt wrote. "These commies lie as easily as they breathe."

The comment also drew criticism from Shannon Watts, a Democratic gun activist who, in recent months, has criticized the far-left portions of her party.

"If you’re a member of Congress who condemned the January 6 insurrection, you don’t get to excuse riots in France as a ‘cry for help.’ Political violence doesn’t become acceptable just because you sympathize with people committing it," Watts wrote in a post of her own.

DOJ accuses 28 foreign nationals in California of voting, registration violations

Federal authorities charged 28 California suspects with alleged voter and registration violations Monday, acting Deputy Attorney General Trent McCotter said.

Bill Essayli, first assistant U.S. attorney for the central district of California, said he believes at least 11 of the 28 are in custody.

The charges against the 28 include "unlawful voting by an alien, a false claim of U.S. citizenship in order to vote or register to vote, and knowingly depriving the residents of California of a fair and impartial election process," McCotter said.

"This Department of Justice will not look the other way while non-citizens vote in federal elections," McCotter continued. "Unfortunately, the same can't be said for California and L.A. County."

The Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's comment request on Monday.

Patel declared in a post on X, "More arrests this morning tied to alleged voter fraud. Protecting American elections from criminal interference remains a top priority of this @FBI . We will use every legal resource to hold those who violate our election laws accountable and defend every American citizen’s constitutional right to vote."

Trump takes border crackdown to deep-red state as shock Senate battle threatens GOP stronghold

EXCLUSIVE: WICHITA, KANSAS — President Donald Trump is expected to tout his immigration agenda in ruby-red Kansas on Monday, weeks after federal immigration agents made dozens of arrests in the southwestern portion of the state.

Trump is headed to the Sunflower State for a rally just outside of Wichita as a tighter-than-expected Senate race that could determine the balance of power in the upper chamber unfolds.

Fox News Digital has learned that Trump will lean into the policy positions that helped propel him and Republicans to power two years ago."President Trump stopped the invasion of our country and delivered Americans the most secure border in American history," White House spokeswoman Lauren Bis told Fox News Digital. "Under the President’s leadership, 3 million illegals have left the United States and zero illegals have been released at the border in seventeen months."

"Meanwhile, radical Democrats want to go back to their extreme open border policies, abolish ICE, and grant amnesty to the illegal aliens they released into our communities," she continued.

The Trump-led Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) have touted a string of arrests and deportations of illegal immigrants in the state over the last several months.

According to the White House, among some of the "worst of the worst" who were arrested in the state by federal immigration officers include Omar Israel Hernandez of Mexico, convicted of first-degree murder, Jose Luis Rauda-Diaz of El Salvador, convicted of aggravated robbery and two counts of possession of a weapon, Oscar Sanchez-Corona of Mexico, who had previously been deported for drug offenses, damaging property, and driving under the influence, Greg Chukwuka Orji of Nigeria, convicted of dangerous drugs and possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, and Alberto Estrada of Mexico, convicted of aggravated indecent liberties with a child and rape.

Dhillon defends Trump's noncitizen voter probe on '60 Minutes,' accuses show of editing out answers

Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon defended the Trump administration's investigation into noncitizen voters ahead of the midterm elections during CBS' "60 Minutes" on Sunday.

"There are people who feel that the point is to sow distrust about the whole election system. There are very few people who are noncitizens who end up voting — very, very few. And so, therefore, what's the purpose?" Lesley Stahl, host of "60 Minutes," asked Dhillon.

Dhillon responded, "The point is actually the opposite of what you were saying. It's not to sow distrust. The distrust is there. And so, all of these kinds of crimes are being prosecuted now for the first time really, in volume. And look, even the Biden administration prosecuted 13 people for noncitizen voting."

Stahl interrupted and said the numbers were "tiny."

"So Lesley, we've been in office for less than two years. We've had investigations ongoing for over a year, and it takes time. There are literally thousands of them out there that we are looking at," Dhillon responded.

Outgoing Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., fired back in a Sunday post on X after President Donald Trump slammed him during a Saturday rally in Kentucky.

During his remarks on Saturday, Trump urged people to vote for Gallrein and referred to Massie as "a terrible person who always votes against us."

"Massie, the worst," Trump said. "What happened to him by the way? Haven't heard about him in the last few months. What the hell happened to that guy? What a loser he is."

US Chamber of Commerce throws support behind Paxton in widely-watched US Senate contest

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has endorsed Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton for U.S. Senate.

Paxton is facing Democratic state Rep. James Talarico in the Lone Star State's U.S. Senate contest.

“The choice is clear in Texas. Attorney General Ken Paxton has been a defender of free enterprise and the pro-growth policies that empower American businesses to thrive. He has pushed back against federal overreach, helped preserve a low-tax environment, and defended the energy sector from burdensome mandates," U.S. Chamber of Commerce Executive Vice President and Chief Policy Officer Neil Bradley stated.

"Paxton understands that true economic prosperity relies on a fair and predictable justice system. We look forward to working together on meaningful legal reform that shields job creators from lawsuit abuse and red tape,” Bradley added.

In a post on X Paxton noted, "I am honored to have the endorsement of the @USChamber. In the Senate, I'll fight to cut taxes, roll back job-killing regulations, and get Washington bureaucrats out of the way of the men and women who drive our economy. Let's keep Texas the economic engine of America."

The group had endorsed incumbent Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, prior to the GOP U.S. Senate primary in the Lone Star State, but after Cornyn and Paxton advanced to the primary runoff, Paxton emerged the victor.

Epstein-linked billionaire pours $500K into super PAC backing Kentucky Democrat

A Kentucky Democrat campaigning against the influence of wealthy political donors is facing calls to disavow a $500,000 contribution from billionaire Reid Hoffman to a super PAC supporting his congressional bid, with his Republican opponent blasting the financial support as "dirty Epstein class money."

Hoffman contributed $500,000 to Kentuckians Not Corruption, an independent super PAC supporting Democratic congressional nominee Zach Dembo in Kentucky's 6th Congressional District, on Sept. 24, 2026, according to Federal Election Commission records. The contribution came as the group was spending heavily on television advertisements supporting Dembo and opposing his Republican opponent, former Kentucky state Sen. Ralph Alvarado. Advertising records filed with the Federal Communications Commission show the super PAC's weekly television advertising orders on Lexington's WLEX- TV increased more than sevenfold between mid-September and early October, climbing from $14,650 before Hoffman's contribution to $109, 990 for the week of Oct. 6.

"This is really, it's dirty Epstein class money fueling Zach Dembo's campaign," Alvarado told Fox News Digital. "It's offensive."

Trump takes aim at Roy Cooper over COVID-era releases amid battle for Senate seat in North Carolina

Jeffries says Democrats have momentum in fight for House majority

House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries says the political climate remains favorable to Democrats as the party works to retake the House majority.

Jeffries campaigned Sunday in Ohio alongside longtime Democratic Rep. Marcy Kaptur, whose Toledo-area district is considered crucial to the fight for control of the chamber.

Republicans are targeting Kaptur’s seat after President Donald Trump carried the district, while Kaptur is seeking another term after decades in Congress.

Jeffries argued that Democrats are making the case for “dramatic change” and accused Republicans of being out of touch with voters concerned about affordability.

The Democratic leader also criticized Trump’s decision to waive new sanctions on Russia, saying Democrats and Republicans could pursue legislation that would limit the president’s ability to lift them.

Latino voters who backed Trump could help decide House control

Latino voters who helped return President Donald Trump to the White House in 2024 could play a decisive role in determining control of Congress this November.

Democrats are counting on disaffected Trump supporters in heavily Latino districts across Arizona, Colorado and Texas to swing back toward the party or stay home.

Voters interviewed in those communities cited frustration with gas prices, grocery costs and the economy. About 6 in 10 Hispanic voters disapprove of Trump’s handling of the presidency , while more than 7 in 10 disapprove of his performance on the economy, according to an October AP-NORC poll.

The potential shift does not necessarily reflect strong support for Democrats. Many Latino voters describe themselves as independent or express dissatisfaction with both parties.
