The Prankster

This is F. Scott’s favorite cocktail with a twist. It is a classic gin rickey with an absinthe spike. I thought it would be a fun joke to play on him to add a little extra kick to his libation. A prankster knows a prankster.

Ingredients:

Gin

Absinthe

Lime juice

Simple syrup

Soda water

Preparation:

1.5 ounce gin, 1.5 ounce absinthe, 3 quarter ounce lime juice, .5 ounce simple syrup. Shake with ice and pour into highball glass, top with soda water, garnish with a lime wedge.
