Sex sells. So does pizza. Apparently, people like both together.
According to adult film site Pornhub, 2016 has actually seen a significant increase in searches for pizza-related porn or, as the site is calling it, “pizza porn.”
Pornhub says they have 2,000 videos with the word “pizza” in the title. Researchers at the site say users have searched for the term "pizza" in various iterations at least 500,000 each month.
That’s a lot of pepperoni.
The most popular pizza-related search is “pizza delivery,” followed by “big sausage pizza,” “pizza boy” and “pizza delivery girl.” The least popular pizza porn search item: “pizza that ass.
Men are 23 percent more likely to search for pizza porn than women while the 18 to 24 age bracket is the most food-focused when it comes to their triple-X viewing.
According to the research, pizza-related searches have grown exponentially since 2013-- although recent interest in the item on screen is attributed to ads for a new pizza delivery movie produced by a major porn studio, reports Thrillist.
Think this is just a U.S. porn phenomenon? According to the data, America ranks just 43rd globally in the pizza porn search category. Romania, South Korea, India and Portgual rank the highest for pizza porn viewing.
The least interested? Japan.
