Is that really James Franco?

The hunky 32-year-old "Spider-Man" star posed in drag for the cover of Candy magazine -- and he is truly unrecognizable.

With his hair slicked back, '80s-style blue eyeshadow, bright red lipstick, giant grandma earrings, leather gloves, necklace, and black blazer, the actor is certainly glam -- but he definitely ain't pretty.

We have to say, for such a good-looking guy, Franco does NOT make a very attractive woman. If we saw him on the street, it would be very clear to us that he was in drag.

By the way, in case you're wondering, Franco says that he's not gay or bisexual, even though he clearly gravitates toward these roles, most currently in his new movie "Howl." Good thing . . . he really doesn't look the part.
