It was all glitz and glamour on the first live show of “The X Factor” season as Latinos David Correy and Jennel Garcia rocked the house, leaving the audience on their feet wanting more.

The first live show episode kicked off on Halloween, Wednesday night from Los Angeles.

The charming Mario Lopez and Khloe Kardashian debuted as the new hosts for the singing competition. Lopez looked sharp in a black silk suit while Kardashian stunned in a silk purple shirt and black pencil skirt.

Correy also showed off his new look. The Brazilian singer from Maryland, who made headlines after he found his birth mother thanks to the show, came out with much swag, a mohawk and smile from ear to ear rocking leather pants, a black blazer and combat boots.

Correy was one of the first to take the stage singing Whitney Houston’s “My Love is Your Love” as the girls in the audience went ballistic cheering for the contender.

“To my mom and dad wherever you are I love you,” he said from the stage to his adoptive parents.

Pop diva Britney Spears really enjoyed Correy’s performance as did “Give Your Heart a Break” singer Demi Lovato.

“You are amazing,” Spears said. “I really felt you.”

“I didn't know where it was going,” Lovato told Correy about how he began his performance. “But I liked it.”

Music executive Simon Cowell, was a bit harder on Correy calling his performance “desperate” because he was “forcing the audience to like” him.

Still, Correy’s mentor, music producer L.A. Reid told the singer everything about his live shows audition “felt right.”

A few moments after Correy, Jennel Garcia took the stage and really shined.

Like Correy the young singer showed off her makeover which mentor Demi Lovato gave her so that Garcia could “Look like a rock star.”

Garcia’s ensemble was all black and leather. Her  new hairdo was also black with bangs.

Garcia performed Motley Crue’s “Home Sweet Home” for the judges, who have the hard decision ahead of them to send four contestants home packing during Thursday’s live show.

Lovato, who called Garcia one of her “favorite” singers in the whole competition said she had “the chills” when Garcia performed.

“I think you look like a rock star,” Lovato said. “You killed it! I see you going so far!”

The rest of the judges all agreed with Lovato.

“I am completely surprised,” said Reid. “That is a 10. You just convinced me that you could win!”

Spears then told Garcia she “loved everything about it” and Cowell praised Garcia for defining the theme given to the contestants which was “Made in America.”

“I loved you from day one,” said Cowell.

Other highlights from the show included Lovato rocking a new hair style going from blonde to brunette with bangs and contestant Mr. Entertainment singing a house music rendition of Jennifer Lopez’s “Dance Again.”
