Here's what all the hubbub's about:

• A few hours before Thursday night's Team USA Awards in Philadelphia, Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Samantha Hoopes shared a busty backstage selfie from her dressing room (below). Thus concludes any knowledge you've ever had, or will have, about the Team USA Awards, which are in fact a thing. (Apparently.)

• Speaking of ladies who serve as Carl's Jr. spokeswomen, actress and GUESS model Charlotte McKinney recently shared her secrets for finding comfortable bras and lingerie, especially if you're of the curvier kind. Learn her tips in the video below, unless you — like Samantha up there — prefer to just wander around in loose bathrobes.

• Early on Thursday morning, the Hollywood Foreign Press announced the nominees for the 73rd annual Golden Globes. Leading the pack was the Cate Blanchett film "Carol," but to find out about the other movies, TV programs and actors Ricky Gervais will blatantly mock and ridicule on January 10th, click here.

• In related news, former "Ugly Betty" actress America Ferrara helped to announce those Golden Globe nominations, but whoever was in charge of the official Golden Globes Twitter account mistakenly identified her as actress Gina Rodriguez of "Jane the Virgin." Twice. So either the Hollywood Foreign Press can't tell the two of them apart, or … well, that's really the only option, isn't it?

• Earlier this week, former "Jackass" star Steve-O began a 30-day jail sentence for the anti-Sea World demonstration he staged last August, only to be released less than eight hours after he arrived. It's really a shame, too. By all accounts, he seemed like he was really looking forward to his stay:

• Kim Kardashian has announced her intentions to procure 1,000 pairs of shoes for a charity drive she learned about on late-night TV. But somewhat suspiciously, she neglected to mention how many Ninja Mega Kitchen Systems or Ab Rockets she also groggily procured during that same late-night TV session.

• Oscar-winning actress Cate Blanchett is reportedly in talks with Marvel Studios to join the cast of the comic-book film "Thor: Ragnarok." It's too early to speculate who she'd be playing, but seeing as this is Cate Blanchett we're talking about, we're guessing it'll be some kind of super-powered, Elizabethan-era Queen of England.

• President Obama revealed to People magazine that Kendrick Lamar's "How Much a Dollar Cost" (below) was his favorite song of 2015; that Lauren Groff's "Fates and Furies" was his favorite book of 2015; and that "The Martian" was his favorite movie of 2015. (His favorite member of One Direction remains a mystery.)

• And finally, Michael Cavallari, the brother of fashion designer and former reality star Kristin Cavallari, was found dead three days after his car was discovered abandoned in Utah. He was 30.
