Star Wars fans had a lot to chew on this Thanksgiving.

LucasFilms and Disney released a new teaser for the much-anticipated seventh installment of George Lucas' science fiction epic, "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," which opens nationwide on Dec. 18.

(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js#xfbml=1&version=v2.3"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);}(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));

The clip, which was posted to Facebook Thursday morning, mostly focuses on the upcoming film's mysterious villain, Kylo Ren, played by Adam Driver.

But that doesn't mean that it stints on glimpses of cool battles, Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew) shooting first and asking questions later, and Guatemalan-American actor Oscar Isaac telling his fellow rebel pilots, “All teams, give it everything you got!”

The movie stars newbies to the franchise including Isaac, Daisy Ridley and John Boyega, as well as veterans Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker and Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia.
