Miranda Lambert has had quite a year so far – from winning an ACM Female Vocalist of the Year Award to nabbing CMT’s Female Video of the Year.  Plus she has those hit singles that may just keep on rolling out.

“I still have 12 songs left on this record that I want to come out as singles," she tells FOX411 Country. "I think it will be like a year and half before we put out a new record probably. Hopefully a year because I need that time to start writing again planning what my next steps going to be.”

As for now there are plenty of steps she’s taking, including a few to the altar with her recent engagement to fellow country star Blake Shelton.  But there is one thing it seems they don’t have in common – a love for online texts.

Miranda jokes that “I'm on Twitter a little bit I mean I kind of took a break. It sort of feels like people get obsessed with it, people like Blake Shelton. It's just it feels like it's too much sometimes.”

But you can find plenty of Miranda Lambert news on her website, like where her headlining our will be taking her next. She says she’s excited to take on the responsibility but it also means more pressure.

“I feel like it's good for me because its helping me grow as an artist…we don't just go out and open and play for 45 minutes and get the crowd pumped for someone else, it's on our shoulders so we have to step up," she said.
