Local news anchor's embarrassing live TV slip-up

A local morning news anchor found out the hard way that one letter can make all the difference.

NBC12's Eric Philips accidentally told viewers to "check their panties" during a live segment.

Philips was reading his script and failed to notice a critical typo.

"I think that was supposed to be 'pantries,'" he said after realizing the mistake.

His co-anchor struggled to keep it together after the slip-up.
