The "Mean Girls" star landed a guest role on HBO's "Eastbound & Down," which is filming its fourth and final season in Wilmington, NC, according to E! News.
She took to Instagram Tuesday, donning her classic long red locks, to announce that she was "so grateful" to be #back@work though not mentioning a specific project.
A source for the celeb site said Lohan, 27, plays the daughter of one of the show's main characters and was filming a wedding scene set several years in the future.
