Too soon, Kelly Osbourne, too soon.

The 30-year-old former "Fashion Police" co-host caused some ire among her fans on Thursday, when she poked fun at the Rachel Dolezal controversy by donning a curly-haired wig reminiscent of the 37-year-old former NAACP leader. Dolezal, of course, was recently outed by her parents for pretending to be black.

"#CallMeRachel #MyCasualLook," Kelly wrote.

Not surprisingly, some fans didn't find the joke too funny -- especially since Kelly was outspoken about her former "Fashion Police" co-host Giuliana Rancic's insensitive remarks about Zendaya's dreadlocks at this year's Oscars.

"This is ok ...  But Giuliana's comment about Zendaya made u quit 'Fashion Police' ... Hmmm," one user wrote.

"Oh so I get it this is ok to make fun of but not your friends correct?" another reads.

"@kellyosbourne and you say you are against bullying... #hypocrite," one follower points out.

Last week, Kelly shared her thoughts about the Dolezal scandal, Instagramming, "This has utterly shocked me!!! It's a #WholeNewLevelOfWrong."

Dolezal actually broke her silence about the scandal on Tuesday's "Today" show, when she revealed that she's been identifying as a black person since she was five years old. "I was drawing self-portraits with the brown crayon instead of the peach crayon, and black curly hair," she said. "I do take exception to that because it's a little more complex than me identifying as black or answering a question of, are you black or white?"
