"My favorite part of watching #americanidol with my boyfriend is that he always tries to ask if they got in or not before we give the final vote. I never tell him hahahahahahahahahahaha,” the 34-year-old singer said.

Fans were quick to correct Perry, many of whom shared memes to poke fun at the singer’s mistake.

“Does your fiance know you have a boyfriend?” one person joked in response.

“Orlando needs a Twitter account to see the justice he deserves,” another said.

Other reactions quickly ensued:

Bloom, 42, and Perry got engaged on Valentine’s Day this year. Perry later shared a teary-eyed picture showing off her floral-inspired engagement ring, which appears to be a ruby or pink diamond surrounded by smaller diamonds.
