Katherine Heigl may not be on "Grey's Anatomy anymore, but she's feeling the fans' pain over the death of Dr. Derek Shepherd.

Heigl, who played Dr, Izzie Stevens from 2005-10, told ET that she was "devastated" over the death of the beloved Grey's character.

"I just can't imagine the show without McDreamy," Heigl said about Patrick Dempsey's exit. "It's just so hard to picture."

Heigl also addressed rumors that she could potentially return to "Grey's" for season 12, shooting down any speculation that there was some semblance of truth.

"There is not, I'm sorry," Heigl said when ET asked if there was any truth to the matter.

Although she's starred in movies and NBC's short-lived "State of Affairs" since "Grey's," fans still talk to her about "Grey's Anatomy."

"This 13-year-old girl was telling me this weekend how much she loves 'Grey's Anatomy,' and I was like, do you realize you were a 1-year-old when we started the show? It’s been that long since it’s been on the air," Heigl recalled. "It changed the course of my life and my career, and I couldn't be more grateful. I just hope it goes for as long as they all want it to."
