Jill Dillard and her husband, Derick Dillard, confirmed to People magazine their son, Israel David, will have a baby sister or brother come July.

“We are so excited to be expecting Dillard baby [number] 2!” Jill and Derick told People. “Children really are a wonderful blessing from God. Having Israel has been such a delight to us that we know a second sweet baby will only continue to add joy to our family. We are thankful to God for this sweet child and we cannot wait to see her or him face to face!”

The “Counting On” star, who is a member of the Duggar family, and her husband married in June 2014. The two met while doing missionary work in Central America.

Soon after their marriage, Jill said in an ABC interview, “Both of us want as many kids as God will give us... My parents have kept popping them out so we’ll see how [our] fertility is! We’ll just see what God brings along and it’s exciting.”

Jill’s younger sister Jessa Seewald and her husband Ben announced in August they will soon be giving their 13-month-old son, Spurgeon a sibling as well.

Jill and Derick have revealed in the past a desire to adopt a child in the future.

“My mom’s adopted, so it kind of hits home with me,” Derick said on a December episode of  “Counting On.”  “We both think it’s a wonderful thing. We’ve talked about it a lot, and we’re definitely considering it.”

Jill's parents have 19 children. The family was featured on TLC's "19 Kids and Counting" from 2008 to 2015.
