The divorce of Jennifer Lopez and salsa crooner Marc Anthony shook up the Latino entertainment world. Now, the “American Idol” judge said she is writing a book about the difficult times she went through during and after the split.

In an interview with People en Español, the 44-year-old singer-actress said the book, which will be released next year, shares her very personal experience during the divorce.

“I understood a lot of things about myself and my relationships, things I needed to learn,” she told People.

The Puerto Rican superstar said she would also share her experience on becoming a mother at 38.

“I’d love to have more children,” Lopez said. “I’d love to have someone to share the rest of my life with, of course, who doesn’t want that? But I don’t know … I don’t know what the future has in store for me. This is what I do know: I’m fine. Before I wasn’t fine. The book is about that too, (feeling that) you’re fine.”

Lopez and Anthony divorced in July 2011 after eight years of marriage. She began dating former backup dancer Casper Smart soon after.

But even that relationship seems on the rocks. Smart and Lopez seem to be heading for a break up, according to Radar Online, which cited sources saying that the spark is gone in the relationship – and has been for a while.

“Jennifer is pretty private about the relationship, but she’s been hinting that the spark is gone,” a source told Radar Online. “She’s having a hard time ignoring the fact that her head has been telling her for a while that this thing with Casper isn’t forever. And now her heart’s saying the same thing.”

In her interview with People, Lopez said there is no greater relationship that the one she has with her children, twins Max and Emme.

“My relationship with my babies is the most important in my life,” Lopez said. “There’s always a moment in the day where I’m with my children and I tell them: ‘This is my favorite moment: now’ and they love it.”

“The Fosters” Renewed

In other news from the Lopez camp, her show “The Fosters” has officially been renewed for a second season, ABC Family announced Friday.

Lopez is the executive producer of the show, which focuses on a same-sex couple that is raising a mix of foster and biological children. The show is set to return for a second season in January.
