The 2012 Billboard Mexican Music Awards are once again on their way and Jenni Rivera,
Vicente Fernández and Los Tigres del Norte have all been nominated to receive multiple awards.

Billboard announced the nominees on Tuesday.

The awards ceremony will take place on Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, Calif.

Up for 12 awards is 3BallMTY a the trio which fuses tribal, electronic and cumbia music.

Following 3BallMTY is Espinoza Paz who has been nominated in 10 categories and is up for 11 awards in categories such as Artist of the Year, Songs Artist of the Year and Songwriter of the Year and Producer of the Year award.
