Award season nominations are officially in full swing!

On Thursday Latina beauty Jessica Alba helped announce the nominees for the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards.

The Globes, voted on by The Hollywood Foreign Press Association, include awards for 25 categories in film and television.

Much like the Screen Actors Guild nominations from Wednesday, Sofia Vergara's "Modern Family" was nominated for best comedy while Ben Affleck’s feature film “Argo,” where he portrays the story of CIA agent Tony Mendez during the Iran hostage-crisis, was nominated for numerous awards as well.

The highly anticipated "Zero Dark Thirty," directed by Kathryn Bigelow and starring Venezuelan actor Édgar Ramírez, was also nominated.
