Chanel wows in the streets of Havana
Fashionistas and celebrities from around the world flocked beneath klieg lights on a grand Havana colonial avenue transformed into a private runway for French fashion house Chanel.
Gigi Hadid's nails for her metallic, tech-inspired wardrobe for the Met Gala reportedly cost her $2,000.
The 21-year-old model, who hit the red carpet with boyfriend, Zayn Malik, for the first time, wore a studded, metallic Tommy Hilfiger dress and chrome-painted nails that fit the look perfectly.
The Cuban-Salvadoran celebrity manicurist Mar y Soul Inzerillo was the mastermind behind the design.
“I collaborated with Kiss Products to create custom, elegant almond-shaped, chromed-out nails with a hidden detail: crystals,” she told Yahoo. “Underneath each nail, I added three crystals for an element of surprise and to ensure her nails look flawless no matter what angle.”
Hadid looked fierce with her nails and perfectly captured this year’s theme at the Met Gala, “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology."
"Details, details. #NailsByMarySoul," Hadid wrote in one Instagram post. “#MetGala details : big love to my glam fam for being so much fun to create with xx,” Hadid said in another.
