Elton John says Madonna's career is over, compares her to a stripper

Elton John can’t seem to keep his thoughts on longtime rival Madonna to himself, this time launching an expletive-laced rant on an Australian television appearance recently.

"Why is she such a nightmare?" Elton asked during an interview on Australia's "Sunday Night." "Sorry, her career is over. Her tour has been a disaster and it couldn't happen to a bigger c—t.”

But the complaints didn’t stop there.

“If Madonna had any common sense she would have made a record like Ray of Light and stayed away from the dance stuff and just been a great pop singer and make great pop records, which she does brilliantly," John added in a back-handed compliment. "But no, she had to go and prove ... she looks like a f--king fairground stripper," he said of the singer, who recently bared her nipple for her audience during a performance.

John also defended his son’s god-mother, Lady Gaga, after Madonna has repeatedly criticized her for allegedly copying her style.

“[Madonna’s] been so horrible to Gaga,” he said.
