Derek Hough is sitting out Monday’s "Dancing With the Stars," host Tyra Banks announced, over possible exposure to COVID-19 and "out of an abundance of caution."

Banks made the announcement Monday evening, though it was presaged by the popular reality show judge’s cancellation of his Las Vegas show Sunday.

Per reporter Kristyn Burtt, Hough, 36, has tested negative so far.

Friday, Cheryl Burke and Cody Rigsby announced they’d be competing on Monday’s Britney Spears-themed episode from home as they recovered from COVID-19.

Burke announced in a video posted to Instagram last Sunday that she tested positive for a breakthrough case of COVID-19.  "I just hope I didn’t spread it," she wrote, adding, "for those of you who don’t think COVID is a real thing, it’s f–king real, dude."

Peloton instructor Rigsby’s case was his second in 2021.

"While I am fully vaccinated and took many precautions, following CDC guidelines, I recently tested positive for COVID-19," the 34-year-old shared on Instagram Thursday. "To properly rest and recover as well as avoid exposing others, I will be taking a break in the coming days. I appreciate all your support and I’ll be back as soon as I am ready."

Monday’s show was planned as a tribute to Britney Spears, with Rigsby and Burke’s jazz routine set to "Gimme More." A source exclusively told Page Six Monday that Spears, 39, is "aware" of the tribute, but as of Monday evening, she was focused on thanking her #FreeBritney supporters on Instagram rather than commenting on the proceedings.
