We heard a rumor this morning that "Dumb & Dumber" is finally getting a sequel (and no, not a lame prequel like 2003's "Dumb and Dumberer.")
If Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels truly reprise their roles as lovably clueless best friends Lloyd and Harry, we'd be first in line on opening night. Sixteen years later, Lloyd's sheer stupidity still cracks us up in every scene (Lloyd: "Uh, what is the Soup du Jour?" Waitress: "It's the Soup of the Day." Lloyd: "Mmmm. That sounds good. I'll have that.")
SODAHEAD SLIDESHOW: See the best "dumb" movies of all time.
We'd also love to see Lauren Holly make a return as way-out-of-their-league love interest Mary Swanson. (Lloyd: "What are my chances?" Mary: "Like . . . one out of a million." Lloyd: "So you're telling me there's a chance. Yeah!")
But is "Dumb & Dumber" really the funniest "dumb" movie of all time? We know every generation has its own favorite, but here are some of our picks from 1980 through the present day. Who can forget the hair gel scene from "There's Something About Mary"? And "Borat" is simply the funniest movie we've ever seen in our lives, offensive or not.
