LOS ANGELES – Let’s face it, couples who meet through matchmaking reality television shows rarely make it a few weeks once the spotlight has dimmed. But it seems “Bachelor” duo Jesse and Ann Csincsak might be a rare exception to the rule.
Jesse, the season four winner of ABC’s “The Bachelor” met Ann Lueders – a contestant on season thirteen of the long-running show – during a reunion show event. They tied-the-knot in 2010 and welcomed a son, Noah, into the world in early 2011.
And pretty soon, there will be a second pitter-patter of tiny feet in the Csincsak household.
“Baby number two is due late March 2014,” a glowing Csincsak told FOX411’s Pop Tarts column exclusively. “We are currently starting our second trimester so we don’t know the sex of the baby just yet… Number two will be a great addition to our family, completing us. I am hoping for a boy, but I’m sure Ann is secretly hoping for a girl to one day take over the fashion business she is building.”
Now based in the mountains of Vail, Colorado and far from the Hollywood glare, Lueders founded two clothing boutiques called Cashmere and Coco and another in Arizona called Lilly Boutique – with a focus on both new and vintage styles. Csincsak operates his own PR & Marketing firm, The Branding Strategist, in addition to a property management company, Colorado Home Check.
And the couple have no regrets about leaving Tinseltown behind and not trying to leverage post “Bachelor” fame.
“People get caught up in the free ride from the show and forget about real life,” he explained as to why so few reality couples make it through. “Then when the show is over and the cameras and checkbook disappear, they don’t know how to act let alone have a successful relationship or start a family.”
Csincsak also has a word of warning for any reality TV star hopefuls looking for small screen love.
“Stay as far away from producers and Hollywood as possible if they want their love story to work out. Relationships come with enough bumps along the way without the drama producers and camera crews cause,” he noted. “So my advice to anyone who does go on a reality show: go back to whatever it was you were doing before the show.”
However, the couple did make a post-"Bachelor" cameo on the former Discovery series “American Guns” last year after Csincsak insisted they needed guns to protect their family following multiple car bugularies. And with another little one on the way, the proud parents hope to instill strong American values in their kids.
“Just be yourself and not change for anyone,” Csincsak added. “Stand up for what you believe in and not change for anyone.”
