The holidays came early this year for Amy Schumer’s father Gordon. The “Trainwreck” star bought back the family’s farm and surprised her dad with the great news.

The Schumer family lost their farm to bankruptcy after Gordon was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Amy Schumer was 12 at the time.

Schumer posted an Instagram video of herself in the cornfield surrounding the farm with the caption, "Video from the farm when I was running away in the cornfield and my dad was taunting me because I wanted him to come with me… We lost the farm when we lost everything else. But today I got to buy it back for him."

Today, Schumer’s father lives in an assisted living facility. The comedian shared a screenshot from a FaceTime call with her dad, captioning it, “Today I bought my father's farm back.”

After the family lost the farm, they moved to Long Island, New York.

In April, the best-selling author surprised her dad with a FaceTime call with his favorite celebrity Goldie Hawn. She posted a video on Twitter of the call writing, “Face timing with the goddess @goldiehawn who made my father['s] dreams come true.”
