A California woman is hoping to reunite a veteran with a box of lost memorabilia.

When Holly Hogan examined the box that had fallen off a moving truck near her home more closely, she was shocked.

“I was like, ‘Wow, all his personal effects,’” the Sacramento woman told FOX40. “Military flight records and stuff of that nature.”

Military records, family photos and a weathered Maine license plate were all part of the cache that fell off a moving truck at Rio Linda Boulevard and Ford Road in Sacramento. They appear to belong to Sean Greene, an officer in Civil Air Patrol Composite Squadron 14.

“His personnel records and his pilot log book,” Hogan said, describing the find.

Hogan said called every number she could find in the box, but had no luck finding Greene.

“I’m hoping somebody who knows him or himself sees this and he gets his stuff back,” she said.
