Dustin Brown and Trevor Lewis each had a goal and two assists as the Los Angeles Kings scored three times in 96 seconds Tuesday night during a 5-2 victory over the Edmonton Oilers.

Dwight King, Michael Mersch and Tyler Toffoli also scored for the Kings, who have won three straight.

Benoit Pouliot and Mark Letestu had goals for the Oilers, who had won seven consecutive home games. Edmonton dropped its third in a row overall.

The Kings snapped a scoreless tie 4:22 into the second period after some soft play behind the net by Justin Schultz allowed King, playing his first game of the season, to emerge from behind the goal line and sneak a bad-angle shot past Cam Talbot.

That opened the floodgates, and the Kings quickly made it 3-0 with goals 16 seconds apart.
