The 22-year-old singer will be awarded the Ultimate Choice Award on Sunday as recognition for her extraordinary contributions to the entertainment industry, E! News reported.

In addition to Gomez’s award, E! News reported “American Idol” judge Jennifer Lopez will also be presenting an award at this year’s show.

Tyler Posey of “Teen Wolf” – who is also happens to be part Mexican – and Sarah Hyland of “Modern Family” are hosting awards show that includes performances by Demi Lovato, Rita Ora, Jason Derulo, MAGIC! and Rixton.

The awards, which are determined by online voting, honors popular teens in films, television, music, comedy, sports, fashion, and the Web, which is new this year.

Other presenters include Kellen Lutz, Chloe Grace Moretz, Cody Simpson, Hailee Steinfeld and Zendaya.

A recent water main break flooded the Teen Choice Awards' original venue at UCLA's Pauley Pavilion and the show was hastily moved across town to the Shrine Auditorium adjacent to the USC campus.
