At 34, Gisele Bundchen passed lucky No. 7 to becoming Forbes’ highest earning model for the eighth straight year.

The Brazilian model made an estimated $47 million over the past year; easily outpacing her closest competition by $36 million – fellow Victoria’s Secret models Adriana Lima, 33, and Doutzen Kroes, 29, both who earned $8 million.

According to Forbes, Bundchen even beat her superstar quarterback husband Tom Brady, cashing in about $16 million more than his $31.1 million.

Bundchen’s lucrative contracts with H&M, Chanel, and Carolina Herrera, Pantene hair products, Oral-B in Brazil, along with the cut of sales she receives from jelly sandals she designs for shoemaker Grendene and her Hope lingerie line have increased her paycheck by $5 million from 2013.

She has made an estimated $386 million from modelling since 2001, although it has not come without its headaches.

The Victoria’s Secret model revealed earlier this year that she was audited by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) because she was named to Forbes’ supermodel list.

“It’s sad, because the people who write these things don’t have my bank account details,” Bundchen told MedMulher, a Brazilian news site. “I do OK, I earn plenty, but not as much as they say. I have already been audited by the IRS because of this list, and, truthfully, whether I’m on this list or not doesn’t interest me.”

Forbes calculated the models’ earnings from June 2013 to June 2014, looking at income from cosmetics, endorsements, advertising and fragrance deals. This year’s list of the 21 highest paid models earned a combined total of $142 million.

Fellow Brazilian model Lima – and Victoria Secret’s longest-running Angel in the brand’s history – bolstered her paycheck with lucrative deals with Maybelline and a new contract with Spanish clothing company Desigual, according to Forbes.

Dutch model Kroes added deals with H&M, Emilio Pucci and Miu Miu to her lucrative L’Oreal cosmetics and Victoria’s Secret contracts to snag the runner-up spot alongside Lima.

British model Kate Moss, 40, was among the top earners, cashing in to the tune of $7 million, while list newcomer, Sports Illustrated cover girl Kate Upton, 20, rounded out the top five models.

Other newcomers to the list were English model Cara Delevingne, 22, who until recently was romantically involved with actress Michelle Rodriguez, and American Karlie Kloss, whose earnings have only caught up to their Instagram follower counts, Forbes reported.

“[Social media] has given models a voice and it’s the next way for advertising to reach an audience,” Chris Gay, general manager of the Society Management, told Forbes.
