Being in rehab for physical and emotional issues and having compromising photos on the Internet, did not stop Disney starlet Demi Lovato from winning the People’s Choice Award in the “Favorite TV Guest Star” category for her appearance on the hit medical drama “Grey’s Anatomy.”
The ceremony held Wednesday night at the Nokia Center in L.A. Calif., was streamed live on CBS.
Lovato is best known for starring in Disney’s show “Sonny With a Chance” and hit movie “Camp Rock.”
Another Latina Disney prodigy who won last night was pop singing sensation Selena Gómez and her band "The Scene," winners of the “People’s Choice Award” as “Favorite Breakout Artist.”
Gómez is known for her role as the snarky and mischievous witch, Alex Russo, on the Disney Channel series “Wizards of Waverly Place.”
In its 37th year, the event prides itself on giving fans the opportunity to highlight their favorite entertainers in the music, movies, and television fields.
