Could there still be some hope for one of Hollywood’s longest lasting couples?

Danny DeVito revealed it’s not totally over between him and Rhea Perlman, his wife of 30 years. The “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” actor told Extra he and Perlman haven’t exactly called it quits.

“Rhea and I are really close,” he explained. “Actually, still together, just separate, but together.”

Extra host Jerry Penacoli, probably trying to make sense of the actor’s answer, pressed further and asked DeVito if the couple could reconcile.

“We’re working on it,” he said smiling.

DeVito and Perlman announced their split back in October, devastating fans of the Hollywood pair. But TMZ reported they were spotted together at an airport recently.

The two married in 1982, after dating since 1971, and have three children together. They have acted together in films like “Taxi” and “Matilda.”

DeVito currently plays Frank Reynolds on “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” and Perlman recently signed on to a new TV Land sitcom with Michael Richards, of “Seinfeld.”
