Ariana Grande reportedly kept a major secret from her older brother, Frankie.

The starlet, 21, shared via Twitter that her grandfather passed away Tuesday. She had been sharing her thoughts about the tough time for several weeks now.

In a twist, she agreed, along with the rest of the family, to keep the news from her older brother, who’s currently participating in the latest season of “Big Brother.”

“Asked grandps last week if he wanted us to pull frankie off bb & he said ‘no way! he’s gotta play the game even tho i don’t understand it,’” read the tweet.

Producers eventually told Frankie the news late Wednesday, according to TMZ.
