David Schwimmer has his hands full these days! The 49-year-old actor is starring on the upcoming AMC drama "Feed the Beast" where he plays a sommelier or an expert in wine.

“My research is tough,” Schwimmer quipped on "Late Night With Seth Meyers" on Wednesday. “I have to drink a lot, so that’s not easy.”

But it turns out his new hobby has had an effect on his 5-year-old daughter Cleo.

“So listen, I don’t know how the other parents are out there, but my thought when I pour myself a glass of wine that my wife and I have over dinner and my daughter says ‘Can I try that?’ I thought, ‘Well, if you start saying no then they’re just going to want it more,’” he explained to Meyers. “So I thought ‘Yeah, alright, yeah go ahead, sweetie, have a sip.’ And luckily she was like ‘Blah no!’”

Schwimmer thought he had solved the problem, but he didn’t count on little Cleo’s reaction to another alcoholic beverage.

“It worked until I let her try beer and she loves it,” he said. “I’m serious! If I have a beer out, if I turn my back, she’ll be chugging it.”

Just 16 more years to go until you can legally down that, Cleo!

"Feed the Beast" also stars Jim Sturgess and premieres on June 5 on AMC.
