Kendra Wilkinson dishes on what it took to have sex with Playboy's Hugh Hefner
Kendra Wilkinson has been through a lot the last couple of years. Her husband ex-NFL player Hank Baskett was embroiled in a sex scandal with a transgender woman while Wilkinson was pregnant with their second child. Wilkinson says that they have put the difficult times behind them. The 30-year old mother of two spoke to FOX411 about the upcoming season of her reality show, "Kendra on Top," and who she'll be voting for.
FOX411: So what can we expect this season?
KENDRA WILKINSON: We're done with the drama with Hank. I'm putting that to rest. I am fully healed in real life. I don't ever bring it up anymore. I spent two years, every minute of my life talking about it in therapy and so much. I talked myself dry. I'm done talking about stuff with Hank, I'm done feeling that way. I'm healed now with that. Now I'm trying to put other things behind me that are still lingering over my head. And that's what this season is about. Trying to put the past behind me and doing what I need to do to make that happen.
I'm 30 now. I want to make these years my golden years. I want to make them count. I don't want to be linked to anything negative. I don't want negative energy. I want everything positive around me. Kids, laughter, Hank. Anything negative I have to let go because it's too toxic for me.
FOX411: Are you speaking to your mother now?
WILKINSON: No, currently I'm not. I am still trying to find out whether she's writing a book or not and that's where I am now. At the end of the day I'm not heartbroken because of me, I have what I need in my life to make me a complete person. I have everything I've ever dreamed of and more. If she chooses to write this book it's not going to affect me and my relationships. It will affect her and her relationships. I still have a little window of hope that there is a reconciliation down the line but if she does write this book I have to protect my life.
FOX411: Did you read Holly's book?
WILKINSON: Right now it's like beating a dead horse (to talk about it) but I still feel it's really pathetic that she did it. This season someone came to me with the idea of having a "Girls Next Door" reunion so that's where we're at now too. They're trying to put it together and get us three to do it and it's just a very awkward situation. I don't speak to her. The other day I had Bridget on the phone for a second. I haven't heard her voice in years. It was kind of good to hear her voice.
My past has gotten me to where I am in my life and I will never regret any moment. There's nothing to regret. It was an amazing, glamorous lifestyle that we lived for those years.
FOX411: It's admirable how you fought for your marriage and didn't get divorced.
WILKINSON: At the end of the day I truly care about the human being beneath the label husband and he cares about me. We talk about our goals. We have longtime goals. We know we're going to be together. We know the road isn't going to be perfect but we know that if we can overcome what we did two years ago then we can overcome anything. We became better people out of the situation. I did become more spiritual because why not? Everything happened the way it should have happened.
I reconnected with my Dad again after 19 years because of what happened with Hank. When I was in my ultimate pain I became the bravest person I could have ever been and I reached out to my Dad. I have him back in my life and everything is where it should be. It's almost like we had to go through that mess to get to this place.
FOX411: How are you more spiritual?
WILKINSON: I don't believe in church. I believe in prayer. We do pray together every night as a family and we're very positive people in our house.
FOX411: How are you going to explain the mansion when your kids get older?
WILKINSON: Well I'm starting now by showing them who Mama was. I'm not ashamed. I'm an open book and a free spirit. We just went to the mansion for Easter and there are naked pictures everywhere and we walk around them and it doesn't bother them at all. If you teach them that's something's wrong, then something's wrong. But there's nothing wrong with nudity in my eyes. We're born naked. If I walked around naked in Chicago right now, God would not punish me for that.
FOX411: Are you a conservative mom?
WILKINSON: Yes even my conservative friends consider me conservative. I love being a comfortable person but I'm very open. I'm not ashamed of myself and my beliefs. We live in Calabas with the white picket fence and the two dogs and the husband and the boy and the girl, it's a very dreamlike lifestyle and I'm very thankful for it. It's worth every minute of what I do. Being a reality star is very chaotic, it's a very dramatic job to do. I always 24/7 have to be on and ready for any type of criticism at all times. But it's worth every minute, I'm creating a safe and happy environment for the kids.
FOX411: Are you conservative politically.
WILKINSON: I support Donald Trump, but I also support abortion and a women's right to choice what to do with their body. I'm more of a conspiracy theorist. I think everything is a motive for money. Every thought, every belief, everything we're taught in school. The thing that what we're taught in the public school system is everything you should know, I disagree with that. The most brilliant people in the world were drop-outs not that I'm pro-dropping out. I just believe there's more to life than what's in those books. I think a lot of things shoved in our face, politically and historically is for money, that's the motive.
