What could be more entertaining than a diva in the limelight? Well, two divas in the limelight, naturally, especially if they are throwing some serious shade.

Back in the day (a.k.a. the early 2000s), Mariah Carey responded to reporters probing about her relationship with Jennifer Lopez with a sassy “I don’t know her.” Yikes.

Then on Thursday, E! News reported, J.Lo sat down for an interview with “The Wendy Williams Show” to dish on everything from her love life with on-again, off-again boyfriend Casper Smart to her recent acting/producing gig on “Shades of Blue.”

Then the topic turned to her residency in Las Vegas.

"[The residency] was a dream. When I think of Vegas, I think of Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley and iconic performers," said the Latino bombshell before getting into how she scoped out the competition before signing on to the Vegas lineup.

More On This...

"Before I even signed my deal to go to Vegas, when they were offering it to me, I went and saw a bunch of shows. I saw everybody. I saw Britney [Spears], I saw Shania [Twain]."

The “American Idol” judge made sure to mention that she didn’t catch any of Mariah’s Sin City performances.

“Mariah wasn’t playing at that time, she wasn’t playing,” to which Wendy jokingly replied, “Who?” After the general laughter, the host explained: “No, I'm just playing. That's what Mariah said about Jennifer one time."

In true diva form, the “Booty” songstress replied, "She does say that. She's forgetful I guess! We've met many times. I don't know... I don't know her that well."
