Actress Famke Janssen claims she's been the target of a freaky crime. The 47-year-old, who starred in the "X-Men," flicks called  police after someone supposedly broke into her New York City home and put a children's book in her bedroom.

According to TMZ, police are investigating the incident as a burglary since Janssen insists she's never owned the book-- titled "The Lonely Doll."

The book, originally published in 1957, is about a doll and teddy bears who make a pact to always be together.
