On a special “Bachelor” episode, the first of its kind in fact, host Chris Harrison sat down with the man himself, Sean Lowe, to dish on the final three women remaining, why he sent certain women home and what….was the deal…with Tierra!?
On sending Desiree home:
“It killed me. It was a heart wrenching decision. I thought maybe I did just make a huge mistake and maybe I should turn this around. I have all the respect in the world for Des and I didn’t want to hurt her, but at the end of the day I have to make the decision that is best for me and it just wasn’t Des.”
On Desiree’s crazy brother who accused him of being a fraud:
“I really wanted to hit him, I really did. Anyone that knows me knows I’m the further thing from a playboy. It took everything in me to control my emotions. It was truly one of the strangest events. I just chalked it up to him being a jackass. I think I would be lying to myself if I said her brother didn’t influence my decision [to send Desiree home].
On why his feelings suddenly changed for Sarah:
“Sarah and I had a conversation during the cocktail party and kissed. I felt no passion behind it and in that moment I knew that this isn’t the women I’m going to marry. “
On Selma FINALLY deciding to kiss him despite her strict religious beliefs:
“I fully appreciate the gesture and I know how huge that was to do on national television for everyone to see.”
On sending fan favorite Leslie M. home:
“On our last date in St. Croix, I was really hoping Leslie would express how she felt. I felt like at times she wanted to, but for whatever reason she didn’t. I felt like there was some awkwardness there and I felt like at this stage in the game we need to be past the awkwardness. “
On Tierra’s sob fest in St. Croix:
“When I watch it back I think man, I was such a fool because I really do feel like I was duped.”
On fans’ accusation that “Bachelor” producers told Sean to keep Tierra around for drama:
“Had I caught wind of everything the girls did earlier, I wouldn’t have kept her. In hindsight, I wished I would have kept Jackie on the two-on-one.”
On just…why??
“My take is Tierra should have never come on the show. She’s not suited for this show and she doesn’t know how to handle herself in this environment. I hope she’s learned from this, but Tierra is a women that can’t get along with her peers. When I watch it back I see she was getting into arguments with the sweetest, best people in the house.”
On his take on the overnight dates with AshLee, Lindsay and Catherine next week:
“My expectation is that this is going to be a great opportunity alone with no cameras, uninterrupted.”
On what really goes on in the Fantasy Suite:
“I say it’s really none of your business.”
