Magnitude-6.2 Earthquake Rattles Argentina
BUENOS AIRES, Argentina – A magnitude-6.2 earthquake has hit northwestern Argentina, but there are no immediate reports of damage or injury.
The U.S. Geological survey says the quake hit at 8:12 a.m. and was centered in the Jujuy region, about 87 miles east-northeast of Salta.
At least some people in tall buildings in Argentina's capital said they did not feel the quake.
