As reported by FOX29: Houston police have learned the identity of a female found deceased at 11100 Mayfield about 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday (March 16).
The victim has been identified as Adriana Coronado Cavazos, 14, by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer S. Spivey and Officer R. Lujan reported:
Officers responded to a person down call in an open field at the above address and found a female's decomposed body lying a few feet from the roadway. The ethnicity of the female was not clear.
Today (March 18), the victim's identification was determined to be that of Adriana Coronado through fingerprint verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The investigation remains ongoing.
