BEIJING – China's President Xi Jinping has said that the country's annual growth rate should be no less than 6.5 percent over the next five years.

According to the official Xinhua News Agency, Xi said that rate of growth would be needed to meet the government's goal of doubling the size of the economy by 2020 compared with its 2010 size.
