A protest leader in Kabul says seven members of the minority Hazara ethnic group who were found beheaded will be taken home for burial.

Lilia Mohammadi says Thursday the four men, two women and child would leave the capital for Ghazni province later in the day.

Mohammadi was an organizer of an anti-government march in Kabul on Wednesday, where thousands of demonstrators carried the Hazaras' green-draped coffins to the presidential palace and called for better security across the country. Organizers met with government leaders late Wednesday to press their demands.

The seven were found beheaded in Zabul province Saturday, killed by whom the government referred to as "non-local terrorists."

Kabul has been fighting Taliban-led insurgents for 14 years. Security has deteriorated this year as the insurgency has spread.
