A young New York father was gunned down outside a deli early Sunday, police said, according to the New York Daily News.

Anthony McRae, 22, was shot four times about 4:45 a.m. Father’s Day morning in front of the Hamzah Deli and Grocery in Far Rockaway, Queens.

McRae worked two jobs to support his 2-year-old son, according to the paper.

McRae’s killing comes as bullets flew across New York City over the weekend, leaving two men dead and 15 injured in Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan’s Harlem neighborhood.
