POWELL, Wyo. – Two sisters are collecting prom dresses for high school girls who would likely skip the prom because they can't afford a dress.
Ellen Goode-Neeson has been collecting dresses, shoes and donations in Sheridan. Her sister, Lisa O'Connor, has been accepting donated dresses in Powell.
The Powell Tribune reported that they've collected 140 dresses as of last week.
Sheridan has its prom on March 27. Any extra dresses, as well as dresses collected in Sheridan for Powell, will be sent to Powell for its prom on April 30.
The project is called Chloe's Closet and is named after Goode-Neeson's 10-year-old daughter.
