Woman's body found in suitcase behind San Diego hotel

SAN DIEGO – The body of a young woman was found in a suitcase behind a hotel in downtown San Diego, police said.

Authorities said the case was found Wednesday morning on the ground near some trash bins behind the Chadwick Hotel.

Police haven't said whether the body had been dismembered.

The woman's identity is unclear, as it how long the suitcase had been there.
