A flight from New York to Chicago reportedly had to be rerouted to Detroit Thursday night after authorities say a woman began attacking fellow passengers.
The woman was arrested when United Airlines flight 3461 landed at Detroit Metropolitan Airport, according to WGN-TV. Other people on the flight had to help restrain the woman.
She was carried off the plane and may have been injured during the incident, according to the Chicago-based station.
The plane resumed its flight to Chicago shortly after the woman was removed.
Officials said the victims of the alleged assault are seeking to press charges.
